It is also said that the church of Juse Munidun was separated from the land and brought to the land of the convent where this school is currently located. Reverend John Aloysius (Retd) was in charge of the church at that time. According to the amount of money available, small pieces of land were bought in this area and the Vennappuwa Holy Family Convent and the necessary buildings for education were built with great dedication and under the guidance of the foreign Reverend Mothers. These nuns, especially in women’s education, pointed out the responsibility to live a life pleasing to God by preserving women’s dignity through education and various services.
