The PPA was formed in 1985 in accordance with the Golden Jubilee of Holy Family Convent nuns, under the patronage of Rev. Sr. Patronilla. It worth to mentioning the devotion of Rev. Sr. Mary Josephine who spent both time and strength in forming the association in 1985. Twenty nuns who were past pupils of Holy Family Girls School were present for the first meeting in 1985. The first president of the PPA was late Mrs. Astrid Wass an educated, courageous lady who rendered her true service for the betterment of the welfare of the school, with her fellow office bearers and members of the committee which consisted of 20. Her name is alive, because of the untiring effort she took to continue the service of the PPA with the committee.
